Adeline Andrew died peacefully on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 at the age of 80.
She leaves to mourn one son Peter Andrew (Irisz), one granddaughter Artemisia, one brother Roosevelt Andrew (Sandra), her nieces Marlene, Leila, Mary, Debbie (residents of the UK), Joyce Odidison, Rachel, Naomi, and Kiera Andrew, (Wpg.) and numerous nephews and close friends including Norman Lepage and Pastor Ray Cornish of Deliverance Centre.
She was predeceased by her husband Oliver Dorsette, her sisters Celia, Jean, Violette and brothers Wilston, Redford and Bowley.
Adeline worked at St. Boniface hospital for more than 25 years as a central services dispatch unit. She was a warm, friendly and energetic woman who love people. She shared herself with everyone she met. She was very generous and helped everyone she could. She loved to dance, loved her family and love food. She was the life of the party.
She was a devoted Christian and would often fellowship with several Christian congregations in the city.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 at Deliverance Centre, 1831 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg. Viewing starts at 9:30 am., followed by the service at 10:00 a.m. There will be a reception immediately following the service prior to the interment at Glen Lawn Cemetery, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
