Obituary for Bernadette Denise Hardy

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bernadette Denise Hardy in the early morning of December 30, 2020. She was 70 years young and unfortunately, lost a hard battle against COVID-19.

She was predeceased by her father René Allard and survived by her mother Thérèse Allard. She is also survived by her children Chantale (Glenn), Carole, David (Miranda), Brigitte, Thérèse (Brian) and Dominique (Candace); her grandchildren Christian (Cathryne), Stephanie (Ivan), Eryc, Raven, Justin (Janessa), Breanna, Kyle, Jennifer, Owen, Annalisa, Markus; 3 foster children, Sam, Ayla, Levi; her great-grand children Gemma and Ezra; her brothers and sister, Larry (Henriette), Joe, Rolly, Rita (Fred), Leo (Mariette), Bert (Cindy), Fred (Jeannine), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Bernadette was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She tried her hand in a few different careers but lo and behold, truck driving was her passion. She loved going for coffee and little day trips, having BBQ’s, and cherished spending time with her children. She also found pleasure in watching a good action, western, or black-and-white movie. Moreover, she found great joy in sewing and knitting for the less fortunate, while also staying true to her religious beliefs.

We are eternally grateful to the medical staff at Grace Hospital who took part in treating and taking care of our mother.

We love you deeply and will miss very much. You will forever be in our hearts!
Rest in peace mom.
We will see you again someday.
