Obituary for Lilliss Dixon
Lilliss, known to all as “Granny”, died peacefully at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg on December 19, 2018 at the great age of 100.
Lilliss lived most of her life in Montreal and moved to Winnipeg in 1996 to be near her daughters.
Predeceased by her husband Henry (1994), she is remembered by her three children: Diana Harwood-Jones (Tim), Heather Dixon (Tony Harwood-Jones) and Ross Dixon (Mary Jill), ten (10) grandchildren, thirteen (13) great-grandchildren, and will be missed by her former daughter-in-law, Barb Randle, and by special nieces in Montreal.
After moving to Winnipeg, Lilliss volunteered at the Convalescent Home for over seven years and felt that she had returned home when she herself needed full time care. We especially thank the Convalescent Home staff for the wonderful care she received there.
