Obituary for Kenneth Alexander St. John Saxton

With much sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth Alexander St. John Saxton on May 5, 2023.

Ken was predeceased by his wife Delores, his sister Anne Levia, and his parents, Margaret and Sinj Saxton. Ken is survived by brothers, Mike (Joan) and Geoff (Mandana) and their families, stepchildren, Robert Watts and Cory Rodin and their families, his Aunt Val Lambert and numerous cousins, nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.

Ken was born on September 14, 1958. Growing up he enjoyed swimming and Boy Scouts and attended school at St. James Collegiate. In his adult life he enjoyed going ballroom dancing with his beloved wife and being at the lake at his place in Pinawa. Ken was a member of the Bahá'í Faith.

In 1985 Ken earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manitoba. Subsequent to graduation he spent his career working at the City of Winnipeg. He will be fondly remembered as a very talented and creative individual both in his work career and in his home projects.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 16 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clements Cemetery near Selkirk. Reception followed at the St. Clements Hall adjacent to the cemetery.
