Obituary for Shirley Margaret Viville (Andrew)
Shirley Margaret Rose Viville died peacefully on September 27, 2020 at the age of 74 after a brief battle with liver cancer. Born in Wesley Village in the Commonwealth of Dominica, Shirley immigrated to Canada at the age of 50, at which time she pursued a career as a health care aide, until her retirement.
She leaves to mourn two daughters, Joyce Odidison (Misan), Heather Robin who resides in St. Maarten, as well as five grandchildren Delly Dyer & Misan Odidison Jr. in Canada and Carlion, JD, and Jyisha Williams of Dominica.
Shirley also leaves to mourn five sisters: Rosemarie Palmer (Milton), Anne Albert (Kelvin), Merle Jerome (Edgar), Beverley Mills (Derrick), Glenis Dodds-Mills (Charles); and five brothers: Ivon Dodds (Imelda), Monobarten Dodds, Creighton Dodds, Mervin Dodds (Julietta), Kema Dodds (Claudette) and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives across the world.
She was predeceased by her two sons, Calvin Williams and Cleave Andrew, her mother Grethel Dodds and father,
Gerald Andrew.
A virtual funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday September 30, 2020 at the Henderson Hwy Seventh-day Adventist church and broadcast live followed by interment at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
